A French ormolu-mounted tulipwood, amarynth-crossbanded and porcelain-mounted vitrine
Third quarter 19th Century
The cream-coloured marble top with a moulded edge and canted angles, above egg-and-dart and foliate frieze, with a pair of glazed and panelled doors, the lower part each with a porcelain panel, the interior fitted with three adjustable shelves, the sides each with a foliate frieze and two masks, on plinth base, the back with warehouse labels DURTWALL & CO'S, WAREHOUSES, WORTHING and WORT & SON LTD, BOURNEMOUTH and stamped Mr Lawrence No. 89
