The porcelain drum-shaped case surmounted by two amorini and flanked by scrolls enclosing porcelain portrait ovals, on shaped base inset with side panels decorated with birds, flowers and a pastoral scene (one cracked, the other with chip to rear), the dial with individual white enamel Roman carouche chapters and porcelain centre decorated with flowers, blued steel quatreform hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 16¾in. (42.5cm.) wide
