maker's mark of John Parker and Edward Wakelin, London, 1766
On eight openwork scroll feet, the frame with eight shaped supports with shell terminals, with gadrooned borders and leaf-capped scroll handle, fitted with two silver-mounted cut-glass bottles, the covers each with ball finial, the frame engraved with a crest on shaped cartouche, marked on frame and bottle covers, the frame engraved with scratchweight '16-17'
