The cover with concentric oval penwork foliate reserves, a monogram to the centre, with conforming foliate swags to the sides (veneers distressed), the interior fitted with various compartments containing ivory and mother-of-pearl sewing paraphenalia -- 11½in. (29.2cm.) wide, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) deep, 4in. (10.2cm.) high
