A Meissen gilt chinoiserie saucer
Circa 1730, marked with underglaze blue crosssed swords and gilt with E and 2
Painted in the manner of Johann Gregor Hoëroldt with a standing Oriental holding a flywhisk beside a young boy holding a bell rack, further with insects, within two orange rings, the border with Goldspitzenbordüre, the footring gilt (some gilt slightly faded)
12cm. (4 3/4 in.) diam.
