Circa 1870
Of scrolling curved form, cast with blossoming and interweaving passion flower vines, the armrests terminating in parrot head masks, on bracketed cabriole legs to the front, the back legs united by stretchers, stamped C.B.DALE CO, NO 149230, NO 32, and with diamond design patent registration stamps for the 8th February 1862

The design, number 149230, was registered and patented by Coalbrookdale at The Public Record Office on 8th February 1862, and is seat number 32 in their 1875 Castings Catalogue, Section III, page 263.
