A Chinese nut carving and stand
modelled as a covered boat with figures standing on the deck before shuttered windows, incised with eight lines of calligraphy to the underside, the stand with chrysanthemum sprays amongst waves -- the boat carving 1¾in. (4.5cms) long, 19th century.
