A Chinese powder blue ground kendi
with widely flaring neck and traces of gilded decoration, with white metal neck ring, cover, spout and stopper with attached chain, the metal decorated in relief with scenes of birds amongst trailing flowers and foliage -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) high, the porcelain 18th Century, (chip to foot, gilt rubbed.)
