A Chinese armorial charger
painted in iron red, blue, grisaille enamels and gilt with a central crest bearing three elephant heads surmounted by a further elephant head among stylised foliage, within a border of birds in gardens, foliate wreaths and geometric pattern panels -- 13.5/8in. (34.5cms) diam, Qianlong, (some gilt and enamel rubbing).
