The rectangular case decorated overall with translucent cobalt blue guilloché enamel within white enamel frames and centred by a diamond-set star to the two side panels, the reverse panel with shuttered apertures for wind, hand-set, and regulation, agate push repeat button to the top, the white enamel Arabic chapter disc signed Cartier with diamond-set arrow head hands, the movement of typical form with going barrel and steel gongs planted on the backplate stamped Nocturne,BREVET, 30825, the backplate, baseplate and shutter stamped 4275; with the original gold-tooled red leather travelling case and key
