The dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with lozenge half-hour markers, pierced blued-steel hands, the matted centre signed James Tunn, London on a silvered plaque, calendar and mock pendulum apertures, Indian mask-and-foliate spandrels, the foliate engraved arch with strike/silent ring and mask-and-foliate spandrels, the six ringed pillar movement with triple wire fusees, re-built verge escapement with knife-edge bob pendulum, quarter chiming on six bells via six hammers with hour strike and trip repeat on a further bell, the backplate engraved with scrolling foliage with formal strapwork, centred by a basket of fruit above addorsed eagles' heads
