One side with an ithyphallic bearded satyr walking to the right, holding a wineskin in his hands, with an inscription reading charmides in added red to the right, the other side with a maenad walking to the right but looking back, holding a thyrsos held out before her in her right hand, and a snake behind her in her left, the maenad wearing a sakkos, a chiton and himation, and embellished with disk earrings and coiled armlets, with an inscription reading charmides kalos in added red to the right and left, details in dilute glaze; both scenes with a band of meander below, an inverted palmette at the base of each handle above the rotellae, a graffito on the underside of the foot
