AN ACHAEMENID BANDED AGATE AND GILT SILVER NECKLACE
circa late 6th century b.c.
Centered by a large V-shaped banded agate bead with beveled edges, strung together with two similar but smaller V-shaped beads, and with ovoid and biconical banded agate beads, interspersed with gilt silver ovoid beads (possibly later in date) with twisted wire filigree
