Comprising three gilt and six non-gilt examples, each circular with a shaped border lightly chased and applied with three shells and a dolphin-like fish with a curled tail.

Lot Essay

These side plates formed part of a custom-made service ordered by the Fisher family of Detroit for use on their yacht. The complete service included 110 pieces of holloware and 384 pieces of flatware with a retail value of about $42,000, in 1929.
