AN AMERICAN SILVER SIX-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE**
Maker's mark of Peter L. Krider Co., Philadelphia, Circa 1900
Comprising coffee pot, teapot, covered two-handled sugar bowl, cream jug, waste bowl and kettle-on-stand, each piece of octagonal tapering form, raised on octagonal pedestal base, with domed spire cover and urn finial, the coffee pot and teapot with fluted curved spouts; each panel on the body lightly engraved with rococo ornament surrounding either a monogram or a basket of flowers, the upper and lower borders engraved with a continuous band of flowerheads and leaf sprays.
The coffee pot 10in. high; gross weight 139oz. (6)
