Photograph signed and inscribed ("Betty Don't forget I adore you first Jean"). Magnificent 11 X 14 in. silver print, matted and framed to 19 X 23 in. A very fine image of the early Hollywood sexpot siren of such films as "The Public Enemy" and "Platinum Blond," who later transformed herself into a subtle, if still sexy actress who would star opposite the likes of Clark Cable and Spencer Tracy. Her personal life was never a happy one. In her mid-20s her health faltered, and at 26 she was dead of a cerebral edema. A rare and beautiful image.
