inscribed 'THE/Performance and Pedigree/of the famous horse/ROCKINGHAM./the property of HRH the prince/of WALES.formerly called/Camden. (bred by JOHN/PRATT Esqr) Got by Highflyer/his dam purity by Match'em' and further inscribed 'In 1764 he won a sweep stake in Nottingham 50 Gs each 6... In 1785 the first Spring meeting/he beat Mr. O'Kelly's Sargent for 500 Gs in the same week he won the 4 yr old Jockey Club/plate. On Saturday after he beat HRH the Prince of Wales. Hardwick for 300 Gs. on/Wednesday May 4th he beat Mr. Dowson's Clay Hall for 500 G. In 1786 the first/spring meeting he won 50£. on the 20th June he walked over at Ascot Heath for/a Subscription of 50 Gs ea. 6 sub. on the 23rd he walked over for a plate 50£ for/aa ages. on 12th Sep: he won 100 Gs at Litchfield. first October meeting he won 70 Gs. the second October meeting he won 60 Gs and a subscription 5 G 14 subs./In 1787 he won the great stakes of 50 Gs ea: beating Delpini. Fox. Marplot. Drone. Oberon/...Flat and 50£ for all ages...a week his Majesty's 100 Gs for 6 yr olds./the same week he recd 25 Gs to withdraw for a plate of 50. In the second Spring meeting he won 140 Gs/in the same week he won the Jockey club plate. on the 17th May he won his Majesty's 100 Gs at Guildford/July 3rd he won 100 Gs at Winchester.
