linocuts, 1944, on Arches, watermark Martin Fabiani, title, text, justification and the complete set of nineteen linocuts hors-text and 168 vignettes printed in red and in black, the justification signed in pen and black ink, copy number 215 from the edition of 200 (the total edition was 250), with margins, each with a deckle edge at the bottom, some occasional pale foxmarks, Plate 6 with a few short traces of red crayon in the lower margin and some minor lines of surface abrasion in the lower subject, otherwise generally in good condition, loose in paper wrappers with linocut printed in blue on front, within paper-covered boards and slipcase with title impressed in red on cloth-covered spine, the slipcase with a waterstain, some red staining and minor defects(book)
