woodcut, 1896, on smooth wove paper, signed in blue crayon, numbered '48', from the edition of about 80 (there were also a few unsigned or stamped lifetime impressions and a total posthumous edition of 35), with margins, a small repaired and inked-in area at the lower left of subject, two or three further repaired and inked-in spots in the subject, a very soft, diagonal crease in the lower right margin corner, otherwise generally in good condition
