white enamel dial signed Barraud & Lunds, London, 2/9872, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, gold hour and minute hands, signed and numbered frosted gilt half-plate movement with free sprung bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel spiral spring with overcoil, diamond endstone, numbered polished case, the back cover with an engraved coat of arms and motto, casemaker's initials GMHD, London marks for 1871, diameter 50mm, with a fancy 18ct. gold watch chain approx 79grms.
