painted and gilt with peonies and chrysanthemums issuing from rockwork and a scroll shaped panel of a bird in a flowering garden within a border of prunus, peonies and bamboo on a whorl pattern ground -- 13¼in. (33.6cms) wide, Qianlong, (approx. 1/3 of rim restored). See Colour Plate 11.
