A GEORGE III MAHOGANY PEDESTAL DESK
The black leather-lined top with foliate-moulded edge above three fitted frieze drawers and three simulated drawers to the reverse, above a kneehole flanked on each side by three graduated drawers, the panelled ends with brass carrying-handles, the reverse with conforming simulated drawers, on a plinth base, the locks changed, the handles associated, possibly reduced in height, with remains of depository label 'PORTMA...'
