Engraved frontispiece portrait by Le Barbier after Gaucher in three states: etched, engraved, and hand-coloured engraving, engraved plate by Le Petit and Boichot in two states, plain and hand-coloured, 17pp. of engraved music, text in Greek and Latin, half-title. (Occasional very light spotting.) Contemporary French straight-grained red morocco in the style of Bozerian, greek key pattern border within two roll-borders of circular tools round sides, rosette at corners, gilt turn-ins, compartments of spine ruled in gilt, gilt edges, red cloth chemise, red morocco-backed slipcase, (upper hinge very slightly rubbed).

A FINE COPY. Cohen-de Ricci does not record any copies with coloured plates (col.81).
