Together, 2 volumes, uniformly bound in early 20th-century plum morocco panelled in blind, spine lettered in gilt. Provenance: vol. I: Ottavio Contini (18th-century inscriptions, occasional marginal annotation); Harmsworth Trust (sale Sotheby's, 7 July 1947, lots 3112-3, £34 each to Foyle).

Second edition of the Sermones, adding homilies, reprinting a 1495 edition printed at Venice by Johannes Emericus de Spira. Apocryphal sermons are printed at the end and marked 'A' in the table. These two works, while issued separately, appear also to have been conceived as a pair. They are uniform in layout, and the Epistolae are mentioned on the title of the Sermones.
