8° (215 x 137mm). Half-title. Mounted coloured frontispiece, plates. Cosway-style binding in later dark blue morocco gilt by Bayntun (Riviere), upper cover with inset original oval portrait miniature of Keats after Joseph Severn, the miniature surrounded with gilt-tooled onlay of red/brown morocco, all within an outer border of gilt-tooled decoration of stylized flowers, buds and foliage, the flower-heads and buds onto red leather onlays, the buds onto brown leather onlays, the lower cover with similar gilt decorated outer border with onlays, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second, the others with repeat overall decoration employing the same coloured onlays and motifs as the covers, gilt turn-ins, marbled-paper endleaves, gilt edges.
