Hand-coloured etched frontispiece, title-page border and 11 plates by Paul Woodroffe. EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with an initialled original pen-and-ink and bodycolour drawing by Woodroffe on the flyleaves. Contemporary morocco elaborately gilt by The Guild of Women-Binders, the covers with a central geometric design depicted in red and chestnut inlays, surrounded by stylised butterfly designs in green inlays and butterfly cornerpieces in red inlays, the spine gilt in compartments, titled in 2, the others decorated in gilt and with green and red inlays, gilt-ruled turn-ins, gauffered gilt edges (upper cover marked). INSCRIBED 'PAUL WOODROFFE. APRIL . 2 . 1903.' on the half-title.
