A collection of mother-of pearl card cases, mostly 19th century
of rectangular form, three inlaid with haliotis shell diamonds -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) wide; one plain -- 41/8in. (10.5cm.) wide; one folding card case with central silver engraved cartouche -- 4¼. (10.8cm.) wide; one miniature palais royale gilt mounted mother-of-pearl case with ring binding to the opening edge, inlaid gilt metal floral decoration with cloisonné centralised flowerhead to the reverse -- 2¾in. (7cm.) wide; two ivory card cases, one folding with a beaded band, the other with relief carved initials -- 45/8in. (11.7cm.) approximately; a small tortoiseshell box with a floral mother-of-pearl inlaid spray to the cover -- 3¼in.
