The first of Yataghan form, with watered single-edged blade, silver-gilt collar covering the forte chased in relief with scrollwork and shells, fluted silver-gilt grip-strap, rhinoceros-horn grip-scales (one with minor chip), and original wooden scabbard encased in gilt silver decorated with flowers and C-scrolls in relief, the chape formed as a monster's head; the second with single-edged watered blade, tapering marine ivory grip inset at the pommel with a button set with brilliants, and original leather-covered wooden scabbard with silver locket and chape chased in relief with conventional rococo designs
