The first in German 16th Century style
The first comprising burgonet with two-piece skull, prominent comb and fall, neck-defence of three plates, and deep hinged cheek-pieces, and breast-plate of rounded form, with roped turns at the neck and moveable arm-hole gussets, and lower edge flanged for the skirt of three plates, the bottom one arched, turned and roped over the fork: mounted on a large shield-shaped oak display board (all items with some surface rust)
