With browned twist barrels each cut with eight grooves, sighted to 200 yards, and signed in full on the rib, blued scroll engraved patent breeches each with platinum plug, blued scroll engraved tang, signed scroll engraved locks (one hammer replaced), varnished figured walnut half-stock (extensively repaired), chequered grip, blued steel mounts including scroll engraved trigger-guard, white metal escutcheon with later monogram, iron sling mounts, and brass-tipped ramrod with worm (refinished throughout), London proof marks
