The first with 12in. (30.5cm.) barrel (some pitting), flat lock marked 'Tower' with 'GR' crowned (cock a working replacement), walnut full stock (minor bruising, small chip in front of lock) stamped with Ordnance inspection marks and storekeeper's mark dated '1805', regulation brass mounts, associated (?) iron belt hook (pitted), and brass-tipped ramrod, King's proof marks, the barrel and stock each struck with Ordnance obsolete/sale marks; the second converted from flintlock, with border engraved lock, walnut full stock, brass mounts, and later iron ramrod (mechanism defective, iron parts with some pitting, stock chipped and cracked), London and Birmingham proof marks
