the shaded brick-red field with angular vine issuing hooked palmettes, leaves and rosettes around stepped indigo medallion with bold hooked palmette pendants containing palmette cartouches enclosing dusky-pink and indigo double floral centrepiece, ivory spandrels similar, in shaded indigo border of bold angular turtle palmettes and flowering vine between yellow and dusky-pink floral meander stripes, slight secured loss at each end --339cm. x 253cm.(11ft.2in. x 8ft.4in.)
