Lot Essay

Private Peter Fenwick enlisted in the Rifle Brigade in July 1853, and with the exception of a five day stint in hospital in March 1854 and a short period of confinement in May 1854, appears to have been on regular duty in Captain the Earl of Erroll's Company, 2nd Battalion, in the Crimea until his death on 12.6.1855.
