Lot Essay

Rifleman Patrick Kelly was born in February 1939 and enlisted in May 1962, being posted to the 1st Battalion, Royal Green Jackets, following basic training. Regimental records confirm his subsequent service in Brunei in December 1962, Borneo between August 1963 and October 1964, Cyprus between November 1967 and May 1968 and Northern Ireland between July and September 1973. Kelly was discharged in November 1974.
