the case decorated with Buddhistic lions in flowering gardens -- 11¾in. (30cms) long; and a Japanese lacquered tortoiseshell card case and cover decorated in relief and mother-of-pearl with an eagle perched on a pine branch and a pheasant above a mountainous tree strewn landscape -- 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high, both 19th Century. (2)
