Inlaid overall with feather-banding and diagonal crossbanding, the quarter-veneered moulded rectangular top with re-entrant corners above a veneered brushing-slide and four graduated long drawers, on bracket feet, the sides chamferred, two drawers with partitions, minor restorations to the veneer of the top, the feet partially rebacked and reblocked, the handles original

The pierced brass handles on this chest-of-drawers, can confidently be dated to George II's reign, simlar types are illustrated in H. Cescinsky, English Furniture of the Eighteenth Century, London, pp. 171-173.
