A 34.5cm. diameter terrestrial globe, made up of two sets of twelve gores, joined to the polar calottes and the equator with a degree scale band, oceans showing steamship routes, with brass meridian circle divided in four quadrants, the horizontal circle (modern copy) mounted on an octagonal platform, supported on four turned and reeded mahogany legs united by four cabriole supports on a central boss (the horizon ring has parted on two joints)
