Of rectangular form on ball feet, the front with a pair of hinged doors, the ivory surface finely carved with scrolling flowering vine around stylised carnation flowerheads, the top and sides with similar floral meander borders, the gilt bronze mounts and lock plate with engraved floral designs, the doors opening to reveal two drawers with plain tortoiseshell fronts, slight splitting and damage to ivory
