Of drop shape with small applied wings and feet, the body divided into a heart shape by a ridge along the join between the two cast sides, both sides covered with a scrolling silver leaf design, cylindrical neck and dome shaped lid, greenish encrustation, old repairs

A cast perfume bottle of almost idenitical form but undecorated, found at Nishapur and now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is published in Allan, J.W.: Nishapur: Metalwork of the Early Islamic Period, New York, 1982, no.86, p.76.
