The oval bevelled plate within a crossbanded frame edged with boxwood, with hinge to the reverse, on a turned baluster shaft, the lower section with two short and one long drawer, on ogee bracket feet, indistinctly stamped three times 'GILLOWS LANCASTER', the metalwork apparently original
