Of oval section decorated in gold takamaki-e and various inlays on a kinji ground with an Okina mask and mask box, the mask inlaid in horn with mother-of-pearl eyebrows and the storage box with details inlaid in shell, the reverse a New Year's image of a pine tree and the rising sun lacquered in red togidashi, a single pine cone inlaid in stone, the interior decorated in nashiji; fitted with a glass bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a Chinese couple, with signature Mitsutsugu
