A Group of Five Straw-Glazed Pottery Figures of Female Attendants
Sui Dynasty
All wearing a long shawl over the shoulders revealing the scooped bodice of her long dress, their hands held in different positions, but all hidden within their narrow sleeves, the faces modeled with crisp features and the hair dressed in a large coiled topknot, covered with a straw glaze of cream color, faint traces of red and black pigment
