Circa 1900
Modelled as a sphere supported by the three graces, the lid surmounted by cupid amongst the clouds, enclosing the movement stamped A and B, with two circular enamelled rings showing hours and minutes in Roman and Arabic numerals, on a tripartite base with pierced frieze panels and on tapering feet, cupids lacking his bow and arrow, the lid dented, restorations
75cm. high and 30cm. diam.
