Comprising six fauteuils and a canapé, each with padded arched tapering back, bowed seat and arms covered in ivory silk brocade decorated with medallions and foliage, the frame with gadrooned cresting flanked by urn finials, the arms with beading and acanthus, on stop-fluted turned tapering legs headed by patera panels and lappeted seat-rails, with pegged construction, one chair inscribed in white paint to the seat-rail 'T.W.P. 1837', the canapé with brass caps and castors and inscribed in pencil to the seat-rail 'H. T. Smith/Upholsterer/1884/London' and to an angle block 'H. Smith/1884/...', re-decorated, possibly English
