In three sections: The rectangular molded and dentilled cornice above a frieze inlaid to simulate fluting; the upper section with two panelled and string-inlaid doors opening to a shelved interior, all flanked by string-inlaid stiles; the lower section with conforming mid-molding over arched sides with veneered and geometric-inlaid edges centering a roll-top veneered and string-inlaid lid opening to an interior fitted with a string-inlaid long drawer above three valanced pigeonholes, flanked by tiers of three string-inlaid short drawers, all over a sliding inlaid and leather-lined writing surface above a rectangular case fitted with four graduated and string-inlaid long drawers flanked by rectangular reserves, on square tapering legs with inlaid reserves
