A Continental walnut side table, late 17th/early 18th century
Probably Spanish, possibly Italian, with elements possibly of a later date, with a rectangular overhanging top containing two drawers in the frieze with carved borders, the projecting brackets on ring-turned splayed column supports joined by fret stretcher and arched wrought iron scroll stretcher below, on turned feet, with dummy drawers to the reverse and gouged roundel ornament to the drawers
