A Dutch walnut and floral marquetry bombe fronted bureau, 19th century
In two sections, the upper part with oval floral panels to the top, the fall with two panels of baskets of flowers with birds heightened in harewood, within zig-zag interlaced ribbon chequer borders, enclosing a graduated fitted interior with central mirrored cartouche panel enclosed cupboard between secret compartments, open shelves and drawers, some of serpentine outline, having a well enclosed by a slide, the lower part containing three long drawers between projecting canted angles and shaped apron, the sides with cornucopiae and baskets of flowers, on claw and ball feet
