The rectangular panel finely inlaid with a variety of coloured marbles and hardstones inlaid with a picture depicting a young girl fetching water from a fountain, with four companions, and two water-carrying women in the background, a village and hills in the distance, signed to the lower right-hand V. Montelatici, in original giltwood frame, with foliate border
The panel: 44½ in. (113 cm.) wide; 76¼ in. (193 cm.) high
The frame: 61¼ in. (155.5 cm.) wide; 93 in. (236 cm.) high
