A Japanese lacquer cabinet-on-stand, the cabinet late 18th/19th century
Applied with engraved copper angles, hinges and keyplates with panels of prunus blossom and flowers with speckled borders with ten various drawers with birds and buildings in landscapes, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors with flowering plants and cranes applied with ivory flowerheads in relief, the sides with birds and branches applied with carrying handles, the reverse of the doors with scrolls, the stand with pierced cavetto frieze applied with bronze pierced panels, on pierced angled scroll supports
the cabinet -- 36¾in. (93.5cm.) wide, 28¼in. (71.5cm.) high, 20in. (51cm.) deep
the stand -- 51½in. (131cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
