The hinged top with rounded corners crossbanded in satinwood and inlaid with lines, having a reversable central sliding panel inlaid on the reverse for chess, concealing a backgammon compartment inlaid in ivory and ebony in the Indian taste, with chequer inlay, containing a frieze drawer below, on standard dual splayed end supports with moulded panels inlaid with lines terminating in brass caps and castors
